We are on a dead end road, only six families perhaps, plus the house is way back in so no T&T's ever. Due to the weather, Halloween was delayed until today around me. I had out of town relatives come by so we went out for dinner at perhaps 5:30 or so. There were several people out with their little "hob gobblins" having fun going around. Is it that Holloween is getting more centralized (large functions) and taking place in daylight? No doubt there are some sicko's out there and the push is to provide a safe and fun environment.
When I was small, we would cover a huge area and score enough candy for a month. Geez! Now I have to stay away for fear that my glucose number will go up.
I have a school bus route and they had some kind of Halloween function at school today because all of my grade school students had a bag of candy. I guess you could say that was my worst nightmare because they were all sugered up and rowdy, lol!

A lot of the kids are going to "trick or trunk" parties now. Where people decorate their cars and the kids go from car to car trick or treating. A few local churches and the girl scouts have been doing it for years.
