I do the same thing, as well as a neighbor from up the road. We live in a semi-rural neighborhood, 4 to 20 acre lots, the homes are pretty spread out. I took my daughters and let my 17 year old soon do some of the driving, he is going to inherit pulling the trailer 100% next year. My daughters each brought a couple of friends and we picked up a few along the way. There is a golf course community across the state highway, that's were the full size candy bars live. They get a kick out of the "hillbilly" folks from across the road that come over with tractors and trailers. Not unusual for them to be out on the porch waiting for trick or treaters.
My neighbor gives out candy for us while were out, he said not as many as last year, although we did have some on/off rain showers. My kids and friends had a great time, folks were giving out extra candy, I guess because of the low turnout. Seems to be declining over the past few years.

we live in a development that is pretty popular with trick or treaters. I pulled a double axle trailer with my tractor with bales of straw around part of the neignborhood last night with 5 kids from 3 to 9 and thier parents. The kids (and parents) had a great time and got lots of candy. They had so much they were trying to share with me. My wife said had about 25 at our house. The hottest area in the neighborhood was the back corner and it was pretty busy. One of the boys, about age 8, wanted to know if he could drive the tractor. Thats me in the cowboy hat.
