NX6010 hydro transmission issues

Keep in mind on the Kubota HST+ , they let you adjust the lag time from 0 to very smooth transition with a dashboard knob, or the newer models by a menu setting. I used to be able to link to a video that showed that in action, but I believe it is been taken down. But what I remember is with it adjusted all the way fast it slid the tires, on dirt, and all the way the other way it was very slow/soft response. My Kioti is very smooth, but not fast to transition. And cannot be adjusted by the operator.

Starting in 2014, Kubota blundered and got rid of the knob, forcing adjustments with a single, hard-to-use button, that controls many other things as well.

That said, I think this is the video you have in mind demonstrating the old, functional control system.

The Kioti NX also has that adjustment knob. However, that only works AFTER the forward motion has been engaged, so it really has little effect on the lag time that I am referring to. It is that lag time that gets me..

The take away question is this: if you had to do it over, would you do it differently?

Video wise, my Minnesota Proving Grounds Facility is way too far away (unless some OEM sponsored us).

Boy..... that is a good question. I am not the type of person to quit too early on something . I have to give the Kioti more time.. If it is just a matter of getting used to the operational differences, then that Is what I must do. Those differences (so far anyway...) don't negate the original reasons that I purchased the Kioti. It has much better options than the Deere, I was sold on their R & D and advertising, and of course there is the little 8 to 10k difference roughly in price tag. So..... give me some more time and I'll better answer that later.

Yeah, in watching this video, the Kioti will not forward/reverse this quickly.... Not mine anyway. That is precisely when I'd get the severe lag and slippage feeling..

The 5510 I drove had it just starting out in forward, not just reversing between the two.

The 4510 had no such lag, so I don't think it's intentional.
