Snow off kilter front mount snowblower (BX1500 and B3200)

Now that it is mentioned here, the front mount blower on my B2650 behaves in the same manner, When lowering the blower, the left side droops and touches the pavement first. In my case the blower is definitely heavier on the left side as that is where the reduction gear/drive sits. The B3200 would have the same or similiar setup if it is a Kubota blower (B2782 model).

Gotta disagree with you here. I have a front mount on the b2920 and front tire pressure WILL affect level as the subframe and frame both have some slop in it; therefore rear tire pressure is important but not the only factor that determines level.

Please explain the physics here. Your tractor body is held up by a triangle, 2 rear tires and a pin that allows the front axle to rock. Up and down, yes. Tilt? There is no force component.

I see the same thing happening with my mine (BX2750) also. It's not tire pressure or that the quick hitch is installed on an angle (checked w/level w/blower on floor). And I can't see a major weight difference in blower from one side to the other. I've yet to solve why it does it, believe me I've tried . It's been that way since I got it and no amount of adjusting will correct it. For the last 5 years every time I've mounted it, it always does the the same thing. Mine will "droop" on the right side when lifting (not much, but the left side comes up some before the right side) but sits flush on pavement. Got me!

I'm assuming you're not talking a huge difference.

Could it be the front tires at different inflations or with different wear pattern? If it's baked into the hardware you could always correct at least up to a half inch I'd guess by deflating the high side? No experience with snow blowers here (for sure) but just brainstorming a bit.......

Front tires won't matter at all in this situation. If one tire goes flat, the tractor front dips 1/2 way down, but stays level because the rear tires determine level. The front will just rock one way or the other. Is there any type of adjustment to make on the lift arms / mounts?

Differences in rear tire size/inflation is the first thing to check.

MY BX1860 started doing that this year (third winter). I can't find anything loose or amiss. It really doesn't bother me all that much and it's interesting to see that others do it, too.

I haven't seen to many snow blowers that after a few seasons do lift perfectly level. Most linkages do get some wear and after hitting a few solid objects in the pavement or driveway at 5MPH things do get tweaked a bit.

Rear tire pressure is the most common cause for machines to not lower attachments level.
Then again, most operations are with the blower on the ground and hydraulics in the float position unless scraping.

After reading all the posts I subscribe to pressure in the rears having more to do with level front end and float allowing hinky linkage to allow an implement to rest level on the ground.

A friend sent me photos from Putnam County, NY and instead of color, they were sepia tone. Dense fog, deep snow with expectation of 50F tomorrow followed by heavy sustained rain. That's a witches brew! Good luck to all of you dealing with weather in the NE.

Rain threat in our part of the NE is over for now, rainfall didn't amount to much here. Warm this weekend, then back in the freezer. Dutchess County NY.
