We are a couple miles from the interstate, on the main drag right to the exits.

Revenue officers...er.. I mean DOT, constantly stake out this road. Anything bigger than a 550/5500 or commercial looking rarely makes it to the interstate without some sort of financial redistribution compliance inspection.

I have counted 6 officers at a time making stops about as brisk as air raids in ww2.

Once you are pulled over, it doesn't take much to smoke over a big vehicle and find something that 'discretion' can be used to cite.

I dont lil how that fire ext is mounted. ( but last week it was fine right? )

Money enforcement....

We had a police department disbanded recently for such behavior. Waldo Florida. Complete racket based on money... They don't exist anymore...

I have to give Canadians a round of applause for how they handle DOT inspections getting out of hand. I have seen times where they would wait for the scale house to close, then enter it at highway speed with a something like a "centipede" 8-10 axle steel haul loaded trailer (approximately 180K lb weight gross or more) and slam on the brakes on the scale platform, destroying the scale until it could be repaired. In some areas, we could learn a lot from our friends up north.

Don't say things like that on a public fourm! if the cops want to bust you all they have to do is get a trace on your IP ADDRESS.......THINK BEFORE YOU POST

As you likely know, the IP address seen from the internet for your computer is likely just the ISP unless you are getting a static public IP (which most are not unless you pay extra for it). They have to have the cooperation of the ISP to get any further. Some will require warrants, some just give out the information regardless.

It used to be that if you wanted to run security cameras that you could access remotely, you had to have a static public IP, but nowadays, you usually don't need them since the camera folks provide a method to connect to your remote camera by connecting to their website using an app.

I agree we need to be careful what we say on the internet, it can (and often does) come back to bite us later...

If you must come clean for running off road diesel in your on road truck, I seem to recall that you can declare that when you file your taxes and pay the appropriate tax. I know that I can do the opposite if I want (run on road diesel offroad and claim that refund).

Arguing with law enforcement always yields a negative result for the civilian I have observed.

In particular when the law enforcement officer is incorrect . Then they have unlimited tax payer $$$ and bureaucratic support behind them. Right and wrong becomes the least important issue.
Thank goodness for video evidence .

@hawkeye.

I have seen some internet cameras that you setup a Skype account for them, then can Skype them. :)

Sounds like a good reason to hang cops as traitors to our country. I am not anti cop, but this violates the 4th Amendment.

In 90s, I knew a guy who ran heating oil in some old diesel car. Personally I would just run it up and not tell a soul. Never know how word can trvel to the wrong person.

When googling low sulfar in tractors, there was debate. One concern was not enough lube for old tractors.

You see a post on a message board about somebody said they saw a cop do something illegal and you are ready to hang our law enforcement as traitors?
I will refrain from posting my opinion about that comment.
