Both of my wallets are locked in the glove box all the time. I only have one licensed vehicle so I don't need my wallet on me all the time. My cash goes in my front pocket right under my hand.

Even easier on the butt is to wear cargo pants and put the wallet in a side pocket.
When I bought my B7610 in 2009 I had a 7 hour , roundtrip, drive. At that time I carried one of the eelskin wallets I pictured above in my left rear pocket. During the return trip my back started hurting and I took the wallet out.
About then I decided to switch to cargo pants.
Works great.

Yep taking the wallet out of my back pocket pretty much cured me of my sciatic nerve issues!

If you want to 'do a number' on your back in a hurry, stick a fat wallet in your back pocket and then sit on it for a few hours. My chiropractor told me to lose the wallet and my back would thank me for it. I did and it did.

I'm using the wallet I was gifted with back when I was 11 years old, 53 years ago now. I used it for a short while and then put it away and went with more of a traditional wallet until about a little over a decade ago when my little puppy mickey decided he wanted a chew toy. I need a wallet right now so I dug it out and started to use it again. I've had to do a restitching job on it and it worked it's way out of my back pocket one day (I had taken the chain off because it always seemed to get caught on stuff) when I was on my John Deere R pulling a 5 bottom plow but I did find it again. Lucky, eh!

lolChain drive wallets were good before seatbelts. Now they just get tangled up in everything. But they do keep you and your wallet together.

Wallets are way too personal for me.... I have had many gifts of a wallet of the years and have hated them all. My current wallet is from ETSY and it is one of those hand tooled western wallets with my name stamped in the front. Remember 4H projects? Tandy Leather? Yup, couldn't be prouder of this thing. I have a stainless steel wallet that I loved but found it broke down too quickly (the stainless steel fabric fails under the curve / weight of my butt). As a side note, my last wallet was eaten by my dog. That was impressive.

You know, I have only lost my billfold one time. I was Bushogging the pasture. I had been at it most of the day and finally stopped just to take a break. As soon as I got off the tractor, I knew my billfold was gone. A quick scan of the field didnt reveal any paper strown around so I started making laps around the field. I had lost my billfold on the second lap I had made and somehow the bushhog didnt chop it into a billion pieces. I now leave my billfold in the truck whenever I am running a tractor.

I used to go through wallets about once a year. I am hard on them. Then I found saddleback. Best wallet I have ever owned and after having it two years it still is in great shape. It has a lifetime warranty also. They are not cheap but are worth it in my opinion.

I like it... and it would make a nice gift... for me! I see this as a great business travel wallet. Wallets are a personal thing and I actually have an expensive Chinese (oxymoron?) wallet. I have pared it down to my carry minimum and took the insert out but could do the card wallet just fine when on a business travel mission. Don't need the Costco, CCL and other misc cards but I hate to think of the extra task of transferring certain contents between wallets. Seems like I would be embarking down a road a bit like women and their purses.
