I need to grade my drive. There are trees on the sides, so I am thinking that unless some major trimming is conducted, my tractor will scrape the trees. It is a cab unit, I am actually more worried about the tractor than the trees. Is there an offset box blade, or should I get an offset blade? Suggestions?
Thanks

Tractor is a 4320 cut, and thinking about a 4 or 5 foot blade. I 'only' have to go about 1500 feet so I don't mind doing two passes.

At some point in time the trees will have to be cut back. May as well do it now. Something I've learned in life "don't let trees dictate". I can show you a few things on my property where the previous owner did just that and it can make it plenty aggravating at times.

Never seen or heard of an offset box blade. I think that you should be looking at either a 7' or 8' rear blade. JD rates the 4320 to use up to an 8' rear blade. Forget about the 4 or 5 foot blade. Waaaaaaaay to small for your tractor. I think that a good 7 or 8 footer with skid shoes would work best for you, other people may feel differently.

Just my :2cents:

This is solid advise. And the sooner you cut them the easier it will be.
