I appears to have 3 gearboxes, and a shaft that run along the boom.

I am surprised they don't have any counterweight on it, at least that I can see.

I wondered about that too it seems like it would really rack your lift arms.

I know. Seeing how the far 3 pth arm has no down force to counter the torquing / twist effect, how do they stop this? Anchor to the drawbar?

I was just going to say... you need a heavier tractor to handle it... My 3011 has no problems lifting the 600kg, 2 meter Krone mower but in a heavy stand you keep correcting the steering because the offset pulls the nose into the uncut grass...

We have an Alamo ditch bank mower at work. same principal only it is a dedicated mower. It has a hydraulic pump on the pto and works well. Like others have said though it has something in the line of a 50-60 gallon aux. hyd. tank as counter weight opposite the deck and it is very noticeable that it favors the deck side. I would suggest at least to match the weight of the deck if not go 20% to 25% higher for counter weight if you want good steering and traction. Also a good hefty tractor is helps to keep you going straight.

The mower this newer one replaced was shaft driven and was diverted through gearboxes at each 90* bend in the system. not nearly as flexible and lots of greasing required.

Good luck if you do decide to go about it and be safe.
