I don't farm but neither do you. Farming is growing food crops for human consumption, not harvesting mulch hay to sell to mushroom growers. You need to get your parameters right. I bale a bit more than 100 rounds per year anyway. No mulch crap here either, unlike you.

fot the 2.5 gal T6. IMHO $40 is a big increase

No way did you pay $23 for T6 last year. It has been $21-23/gallon at Walmart for the previous 5 years. Maybe for a non-synthetic Rotella oil. I’ve been buying it for years by the gallon and I cannot remember it ever being only $23 for 2.5 gallons.

Actually it’s not. Our fuel, oil and natural gas is some of the cheapest in the country. As for non resident elk tags; those are expensive in every western state. Gouge the tourists. If you think state licenses are expensive, check out what the tribes are charging.

I ordered 4 jugs they told me it was $20.95 for the 2.5 gal T6 don't remember how long it took but they never gave me a call and one day I just happened to check the shelf and there were the 4 jugs of 2.5 gal T6 $23.95 so now I have them.
Sure glad I got them before the $64.95 price tag

My last private land hunt there was over 15 grand but I have to say the camp cook made some fantastic Mexican dishes, once my system got used to them...lol

I do like hunting in your state. Not only do you have large Mulies but the Elk are fantastic too. Have both hanging on the walls here.

Oh, believe me sidecarflip, I AM a farmer. And I don’t have to grow a vegetable or a fruit to do so. I grow feed to raise cattle. My own and others. I’m secure in knowing that. I don’t steal valor from farmers to make other TBN members like Gale Hawkins feel bad or like their opinions don’t matter.

Just had one go up the next town over. Sane deal. Nice green hay. What a smelly mess and you cannot put it out either.

Theres a local city here that my in laws live in. I have never seen so many deer in my life. It's so bad that there Arnold farm on the edge that does a cull every few years. The deer just arnt afraid of people at all.

Yep, no fear.

A small farm adjacent to city fenced 65 acres with deer fence and it helped.

I’ve counted 34 deer from two groups before the fence went in.

The farm is county so legal to hunt… local guide took one and the numbers hanging around went way down.

Getting back to supply chain issues.

I follow the trade publication Diesel Progress. This months editorial was titled "Supply Chain Struggles Continue". The good news reported was expect an improvement in 6 to 8 months. The bad is that 70% of OEMs report that supply issues are getting worse! Biggest issue is getting components and next is shipping issues.

I guess we will just have to continue to be patient. What other choice is there?

Interestingly, I wanted the new Harbor Freight Bauer brushless 20 volt 4.5" angle grinder and none of the local HF stores (3 within shopping distance) had them in stock, so I ordered one online from HF. It arrived in a timely manner and I unboxed it and attached a fully charged 5 amp hour batter, fired it up and it spooled up to speed and it immediately shut off. Tried in about 10 times, same deal so I called HF in California (800 number) and explained the issue and was issued a pre paid Fed-Ex shipping label and returned it and requested a working replacement.

Seems as though HF don't have any, so I'm on a 'wait list' now... I find it interesting that HF has none. Must be sitting on a container ship parked outside San Diego harbor waiting to unload....lol

First time I ever had an issue with a HF tool.
