I tried a pump from Northern, paid like 40 bucks plus ship, total pc of junk.
Try using a pipe wrench, it will work, then buy a new drain plug. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Make sure you use a pair of curved jaw Vise-Grips. Clamp them on and use another pair to tighten the adjusting knob. The jaws will bite in very hard and will not slip. I replaced my adjusting knobs on a couple of pairs with bolts so I could use a wrench. Do not tighten too much or you will crack the head of the Vise-Grips.

Just did a quick google on the Pela 650 (model I have)...

Bingo! and a tip of the hat to Bigbear. A 14" pipe wrench did the trick and a new drain plug is now installed.

Won't need the Gator now, but think I will try one of the pumps for other vehicles and implements.
