With a hand from a friend I got the tank on

temp. instal of two out of the four hinges

built the latch holder and, um, the female end (for lack of a better term) with ramp up

closes hands free

90 deg dump!


So, I decided today I'll be taking 6" out of the uprights on the lower frame. When I designed it, I figured half the length of the tank (hinges are at the half way point) plus 6" of clearance. This is true at 90deg dump, but at 65deg I've got 15" under the back of the tank... so no need for that much. Not only will it make the trailer more stable, but it'll be easyer to load and unload, for the sake of an extra day's work, I think it's worth it.
