I'm a "Newby". I got my 1970 580 with loader and backhoe last week and I am so glad I found you guys. I have less than an acre and am hounded with the question "why did you want this thing?" I tell everyone it's my mid-life crisis red Corvette. I actually said that yesterday to a guy that has a red Corvette and he replied "I bet you'll have a lot more fun..." Anyway, mine has leaky cylinders, weak brakes, missing muffler, inflated but terrible tires (hate to spend $$ on these) and a couple of "scary" looking hydraulic hoses but all of it works. I've already learned a bunch from you. One question in particular I have at this point is on hose diameters. I really don't know if what is on there is something that someone just had available or if its the correct size. Would it be correct to assume that the steel line connected to the hose should indicate the relative size of the hose? Thanks, TommyTee
