We have an old manure spreader that my grandpa bought at an auction in Waverly IA sometime in the 1970's. We don't know anything about it. It appears to possibly be a Kemp and Burpee "success" model spreader built in the 1890's. It doesn't have a continuous apron, but a mechanically moving floor that works it's way to the back, feeding the load with it. When the load is gone, it looks like the floor is then cranked by hand back to the front. The moving floor mechanism has a speed selector with different speeds to choose from. I have not seen another picture of another spreader like this one on the internet. The closest I have found are old newspaper adds. If anyone can help figure out what this is please let me know. I have included some pictures here.
