Old iron's not only durable and strong, they are also fuel efficient compared to the modern tractors of today. I don't know why ??? but as fuel prices go up and the worlds in to building greener vehicles????? the old tractor are much fuel efficient. for e.g.- to plough a land with a Massey Ferguson 135 cost 3000/= but with a new modern John Deere 5047D (47 HP, 3 cylinder) ploughing cost 5500/=. The MF 135 was built in the 70's and the JD built in 2012. "Old is Gold". And not to forget they are easy to repair.
