I would take a guess it's the L35 TLB. I recall it being around in 1991. What do you think? I see no reason for them to discontinue it either as it is a tank for a CUT. Rat...

RAT,
The L35 has been around for a long time. However, I think that it's days are numbered.

I talked to the Kubota factory rep last month at the New York State Farm show, and questioned him when Kubota would be replacing the L35. He said that Kubota has a new prototype tractor that is being tested right now to replace the L35. He said that it is their response to the John Deere 110TLB design. He said that he has seen the tractor and looks similiar in design to the JD110, Also, he said that the machine was 800 lbs heavier than the L35.

Maybe the machine will be unveiled this fall. Your right the L35 is one great tractor. I am seriously thinking about buying a new one before the tractor is discontinued.

If you saw the L35 in 91 you had to have been in japan since the Grand L base unit hadn't been introduced yet. I thought it was even later but my books show first model L35 in 1994. The same year saw the GF1800 front mower which also is still in production. Next youngest models would be TG1860 and F60 models from 1996, although the TG has had one minor tweak with KRA reverse awareness system.
