took my ck27 over yesterday to have a tooth bar and backhoe installed! cant wait to see what itll do .. 16inch bucket, rear remotes. did also see a ck20 sitting there in peices waiting to be rebuilt from where the owner left the detent lever engaged while doing other task and kep giving it fuel when it was loosing power , out went the seal and the rods couldnt take it any longer [great lesson for me not to forget] and kioti is taking the bill wow!!

For this non-mechanical type, what is a "detent" lever? I have a ck30 that pulls a finish mower and also a front loader which is not hooked up until its needed. Always willing to learn...........
I suspect he is refering to the leaver that controlls remote hydrolics. If left in the either a or b position for extened periods of time with the fluid not moving, (Dead headed), the it can cause damage to pumps. Remotes should be left in the center or nuetral position, when not in use

It has been said many, many times on this forum, get a loop of Hydraulic hose (with fittings) and when there is no implement on, hook one end to the out and the other to the in. Then even if the lever is left on by you or your idiot neighbor who borrows your tractor, there will be no harm. For $35 it is cheap, cheap insurance, less that $35 if you make it yourself.

I can see this happening to a person new to equipment. I guess after over 5O years of operating equipment what is common sense to one is not to another. My late FIL tractor as two sets of remotes but it only takes about 3 seconds to know I am moving the wrong control due to the sound of the engine.

got it today love it , breaking it in right! covert stumps rocks on our bank etccccc,,, and yes i got the hose also thrown in free! dickson tractor in sc they also went over the entire machine as well and washed it too.. lol i was just gonna get it dirty?????#$%?$%? the ck 20 after it blew the pump seal it hydro locked the engine and bent the rods
