If you do this by mistake, immediately go to the eBay site and change your password! Once you change your password, the scam-artist won't be able to hijack your account.

Junkman I saw no bunny picture. If you send me email please put Junkman in the subject line or I may not see it. I get thousands of spam email each day and it is hard to tell the good from the bad sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

It's yet another version of the Nigerian scam. What they want you to do is prove your good faith by sending them a small amount of money. Once, when I had a little extra time, I responded to one by saying that I would be happy to participate with them but they had to send me a small amount of money to prove their good faith. The emails flew back and forth for several days, following a sequence of, "After, you, Alphonse." "No, after you, Gaston." What I asked for was one-one hundredths of a percent of the amount in question, which for your letter, would be $1850. They already had my email address, so I told them to deposit the amount in my PayPal account (to make a deposit, all you need is the email address. To access the account, you need a user name and password).

Of course, after a few days they tired of it, and nothing ever came of it. But, It was kinda fun while it lasted....

Well Bird, in my case all they have to do is click on any of my posts and my full name and email address pop up. I don't hide my address or telephone numbers, but you can bet I'm very, very careful about clicking on links or attachments. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
