I saw that too James. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I saw one a couple of years ago at the Milwaukee store on Mockingbird east of Irving Blvd.

To give the unwary and idea of what we're going to be doing here's a photo of Scott's barn that a bunch of the TBN'rs worked on last October. We just got the skin finished up yesterday and Scott's hoping to have all the trim done and the roll up doors on by next weekend.

Here's a shot of the door installation we were talking about earlier.

Bobby, come on down any day. If you let me know about a week ahead of time there might be a cement truck waiting for you to make your visit even more enjoyable! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

James, I got the table from Home Depot On line, the price is $226. It is a very heavy table with a good chain clamping system and a lot of adjustment screws to make that perfect cut. To attach the saw just remove the front handle and use the same screw to attach it to the table arm. The legs are separate - 3 foot pieces of 3/4" threaded pipe. The table has the threaded females.

txdon,
I couldn't help but notice the JDRF T-Shirt.
Thanks for your support of the JDRF.
I know you don't get those T-Shirts unless you donate $100.00. I am a type 1 Diabetic and appreciate your support in finding a cure.

The carport/barn is very interesting. Hope it comes out well.(I know it will, with Harv helping out with the details)

( Harvey, I still need to get the screws. Can I order them or get them locally at Home Depot or TSC? How many and what size screws are needed for attaching your connectors to the purlins and the poles?
)

We had some problems with the screws Scott picked up at a fastener outlet. The best ones I've found for what we do is the purlin screws that the metal building companys supply. But they're too expensive since we're paying for the washer which we don't need.

I'm still researching. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Yep Harv, my metal supplier said he could order me some screws without the washers but they would be 9 to 10 cents each. I'm still checking around also. Will the screws be a #8 screw, self tapping and 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch?

The holidays are over so back to work. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

But what is this? The hole has sprung and leak and is filling up with sand???? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That was just a gopher deciding that it was easier to push his hole dirt into my hole because it was easier than pushing it to the surface. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Since the holes have been open for a couple of days I always check gently and remove any trapped wildlife. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Don,

Might want to check with these guys for those self tappers:

Crouch Sales Co
2636 Irving Blvd, Dallas, TX
(214) 637-6051

I've only been in there once, but they seem *very* helpful finding exactly what you need.

Don, several years ago I helped a friend build a deck behind his double wide mobile home at Cedar Creek Lake. We had to dig 8 post holes to pour concrete and set piers and when we finished the 8th hole, we found the first one almost full again. That's the only time I've seen a gopher do that, but he sure moved a lot of sand in a short time.
