That is a sweet rifle, octagon is my favorite, the brass makes it even better. I think Henry makes the best, the load unload system is great, when you're done hunting just twist the tube and all the shells fall out in one place, you should put that on your Christmas list, for you or your wife if need be.

I have the Henry 44, it was last years Christmas present, mine doesn't have that big lever loop, yet, has the 20" barrel, holds around 10 shells.

My Son has a Henry 22, not sure of model number. Finest quality, smoothest operating rifle I've ever fired.

I adjust my stride to not step on an Ant.

Same with Roaches unless one shows up in my house. Then I consider it a germ carrier.

About the same here...
One type of critter that I do kill is ticks. Most other insects I leave alone.

And when they go fishing and hunting it's catch and release, at Thanksgiving they buy the turkey at the store then they wont be guilty of turkey murder or it's Tofu turkey oh boy, then after the that lovely dinner they go down to docks and hold hands with PITA and protest the those mean lobster fisherman.
