Operator Presence Switch

On the Branson 3510, does it have a cutoff switch on the seat to kill the motor in case an operator stands up or is somehow thrown off while in gear? If not, why??

Why do you feel the need for a seat switch ?
I hate seat switchs, they s***.
Any of my machines that came with a seat switch, the switch was immediately disabled...

That's what the seat belt's there for. You won't find a real tractor equipped with such a switch. It would be a safety hazard in itself, IMO.

Exactly!!!
I had to load a 10 ton roller on a beaver tail trailer a while back. The only place to park the trailer was on the road pointed down hill. Drove the roller up the ramps, leaned over to see how I was possitioned on the trailer and the seat switch shuts the machine down. Nearly drifted over the front of the trailer.
My Wheel Horse garden tractor had a seat switch when I first got it. Mowing a side hill (like I always did) the tractor started to tip up some. Turned the wheels down hill and lean my body up the hill and the motor shuts off because of the seat switch.
I call it the death switch.
I disable the seat switch on every machine I've owned since before it hurt me !!
