Chipper Opinions on small PTO chippers? Good or waste of time?

Blade shimming works. My Farmpro had about 0.060 runout and I installed a steel sheet metal shim behind the blade. That has worked for the last 8 years.

I think that your problem was different than mine. My rotating cutting edges were all set at the right gap from the fixed cutting edge. It is the disc that the blades mount to that is crooked.
