Opinions please

In two day's it will have been a month since I made a deposit for a new Kioti DK40 SE, I have talked to the dealer by phone 3 times and all have been initiated by me looking for updates and to add a 72" Box scraper.
I was told when purchased it would be a couple weeks and that they would stay in touch by email, I haven't received a one. I am getting a bit impatient and thinking of asking for my $ back, If anyone has any advise they would share it would be greatly appreciated. Larry

IMHO time to look for a different dealer.His actions now should give you some clues about how they would be after the sale.coobie

So you put a deposit down, dealer says a few weeks. It has now been 4 weeks with the dealer never calling you and explaining why it has taken this long when you were told 2 weeks......

Uh...yeah.....I think I would ask for my money back and take it elsewhere.

Not trying to make excuses for the dealer, but stuff happens that is completely unforeseen. How hard would it be to stop by and ask what's going on in person? If you don't like the answer, then you are already there to get your money back.

+1. Nothing like a face-to-face to get things progressing in one direction or another!

Thanks for all your comments, I will make a call tomorrow to see what is going on. The problem with a face to face is you never know when he will be there.

Edit: Just talked to the Kioti dealer and it just shipped and he is hoping to see it Monday, He's thinking of a delivery on Thursday. We'll see what happens.
