Optima Battery Question

/ Optima Battery Question #21
That's what I was thinking too. And the truck is 10 years old. Not unheard of to have a mystery draw somewhere.

7 years and still going strong on the Optima yellow top battery. I do put it on a BatteryMINDer maintainer when it's not getting used regularly.

The 3 lead acid batteries I used in this tractor previously averaged 4.5 years of life each. I've been happy with this Optima, and would buy another in a heartbeat.

I skipped the Optimas due to the noted problems and bought a couple of a Odyssey batteries. They were worth the money IMHO.

I am switching over to Odyssey as well, but have also had good luck with Interstate AGMs.

We use Optimas where light weight matters. The red top for my WRX was 32 lbs. OEM was over 40 and Odyssey 50.

In our 4Runner have an Odyssey because there is nothing light on it.
