It will be worth the wait. Once you get it back and start using it you are going to wonder how you ever got along without it!

They just finished up a couple other jobs and now I'm next on the list. But, the shop foreman is taking vacation tomorrow, so it will be next week. I was afraid of this, I'm going to need to mow soon so I need to have it by next weekend, with or without the loader!

This is going the way things usually go for me with my luck. Some parts of the mounting bracket did not get shipped, so they haven't been able to install it and are trying to get Bush Hog to ship the needed parts. I told my dealer to let Bush Hog know I'm not happy and am considering canceling the whole thing (which is not really just a threat) and that they (Bush Hog) should knock the price down in compensation for my inconvenience since we're having some nice prime weather right now and I'm not able to get anything done because my tractor is sitting in the shop while we wait for parts.

Sorry to hear about the problems Danny. Are they going to at least bring you your tractor back until the parts come in. It seems pretty crappy to me to pick up your tractor before they knew they had everything. It seems even worse that they picked up your tractor when they knew that they had other projects to complete first and that their head mechanic was going on vacation.

That sure can be frustrating. I had some of the same problems when getting my set up. The loader caused all of the trouble. They ordered it and it came in for the wrong tractor, it came in again then the wrong brackets came in. It was a mess and I ended up waiting and a month later I got my tractor.

Anyway hang in there, tell the guy that you want your tractor back so you can use it for other reasons. Maybe that will push him along some more to do some yelling at the Bush Hog plant.

Spencer - I agree with everything you said!

murph - Yes, it is frustrating.

The dealer did offer to bring the tractor back and then pick it up again later when all the parts arrive. I said to wait until Thursday in case the parts show up, but then I'm going to need the tractor with or without the FEL before the weekend. I need to plant about 50 trees, so I need the post hole digger, and I'll need to mow the grass too. Fortunately, it's been a very dry spring, so the grass hasn't taken off yet.

And, to add to that, I brought a big rock back with me from Michigan (from the farm where I grew up), expecting to unload it with the FEL. It's still in the back of my pickup. I'm guessing it weighs over 500lbs. If I don't have the FEL, I'm pretty sure I can unload it with the boom pole on the back of the tractor, but it would sure be easier with the FEL.

By chance do you have a digital camera that you can take a picture of your boompole. We have to make one for a friend to lift some of his docks out of the water and he has to reach a ways. Would like to see yours to get some ideas.

The dealer claims the parts have arrived and they are installing the FEL today and plan to bring the tractor back tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see the tractor back at my place with the FEL installed and working properly!
