Ordered the Kubota 3130DT with 513 FEL

I have the L3130DT with the LA723 loader, also I got quick attach with the HD bucket. I really like this setup. I have pushed some big trees over and dug out some stubborn roots. I was skidding some large oaks with it saturday and it worked great. The HD bucket is a plus if your going to be in the rocks or pushing trees, it is built heavier on the sides and has bolt on cutting edge. Good luck!!

It has the option of a bolt on cutting edge, it does not come with a bolt on cutting edge. I agree, when in rocks or a chance for uneven bucket loading or pushing, go for the heavier bucket.

I went with the 513 loader and HD bucket with tooth Bar .
No doubt the 723 is a heavier loader . But, considering I was all set to get a B2910 ...( and would have been happy with it )... the 513 loader will serve me well.
And, for the few bucks I saved , I got some other tools for the machine . John

I'm very satisfied, but...... I finally reached the limits on my package the other day. I have wreaked havoc on Ga. first growth forest. But in the way of turning my truck/trailer combo around on my property was a green stump of oak about 8 inches in dia. by 6 ft. high. I had knocked it loose with my 513 bucket. I figured I could snatch it out of the ground using my 513 FEL and a chain. Wrong. I guess it was the weight of the dirt and rootball that stalled the 513, but it was more than it could handle. Up to this point I had felt pretty much invincible. The tractor seemed willing, but the hydraulics on the loader just gave out. I also bent the top lip of the bucket with the chain I had wrapped around the tree. Oh well, a couple of whacks with the five pound sledge.....

Put this in perspective. I am brutalizing my tractor. Both it and the bushhog are holding up very well under the circumstances. The tractor has hardly burped. I'm clearing woods you can't walk through and its impressive how much work can be done in an hour.

Well after all the shopping and coming within a nat's **** hair from buying the JD 4310 the Kubota was delivered at 7:40pm Thursday. My 6 year old ran out of the house faster than I did to see this VERY orange tractor for the first time. As soon as the driver left my 6 year old and I hoped on the tractor, turned on all the lights and drove around the neighborhood (I still live on just over an acre in a subdivision). My wife said he had the biggest grin on his face as he steered the tractor down the driveway. Of course he sat in front of me so I could work pedals and shifter and such. The tractor now has 1.5hrs and I'm very impressed and very happy with the purchase. I now own a 3130DT with a 513 FEL and toothbar and R1 tires all for $16,200 which I'm very pleased with. It's 7:45am and my son just came down and ran to the door first thing to see the tractor! I Love it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am also in Chesterfield, Five Forks area (near the airport and Rte 288). Looks like we're neighbors. Where did you order your tractor from? That is truly a great deal. I've been shopping around for a similar setup for a couple months now, but have been getting quotes around 18 - 20K.

Sorry for the delay, I bought the tractor from Corriher Tractor in Lenoir, NC 828-758-5506 (talk to Leonard).
$15900 Tractor and loader with R1 tires and $320 for the tooth bar then $400 delivery (Total $16620). Since it was delivered from NC they don't charge tax.

It showed 0hrs when it arrived.
