Ordered trailer today

28) 4x5 is the dream. :laughing:
Thatll put me at ~13-14 tons per load. Previous truck was 10 tons which was good, but if I can increase efficiency 30% per load, it should save me time & fuel.
Will it ever pay off the delta between the old truck & trailer and the new truck and trailer? Maybe. I needed a new truck. The 08 was getting to the point where repairs were coming up close to the remaining value of the truck. It was giving me too much stress. :confused2:

The stress relief alone could be worth it. The rest is gravy!

That is some trailer. I still don't have one as wife had told me I have enough toys already and I don;t make money from them, only stop from paying others to do the job.

If it’s not one thing it’s two more! Gotta just keep :laughing: and working! You’ll do good. You evidently thought it through really well and sounds like it will be an asset to your operation.

I did do a lot of research! I wanted a Diamond C, but I don稚 have over 20k for a trailer. Have to draw the line somewhere...
I learned something in this process. Kaufman sells trailers cheaper because there痴 no dealers, so there痴 no 20% dealer markup. I know they aren稚 the only one. Kaufman builds hundreds of trailers per month.
I love the curved neck on the Diamond C, but the Kaufman was too much less to pass on.
So,,,we shall see if I made a good choice. Only time and use will tell

Right, that curved neck would be a benefit on your trailer long term. Reduces the likelihood of a stress crack I think. But Kaufman are good trailers and yours will provide good service!
