EDUCATE ME: In what operations is a SWINGING DRAWBAR superior to the fixed, center mounted drawbar that came standard on my L3560?

I am confused because I thought the swinging drawbar was standard on the 5100mx. Just like it comes with the extendable link arms.

I believe they are one and the same. I think that it is fixed with 2 pins , and if you remove one of the pins it will swing within the box housing, left and right. This is what I think, now what I know for a fact, though I have seen several like that.

Top n tilt is an $842 option.

The MX5100 comes with fixed drawbar standard. The Op Manual shows the optional swinging mount. Yes- you can run a cylinder up front from a rear remote (I use a rear remote to control the swing of a v-plow) but it is inconvenient for a grapple. For example, if holding the wheel with left hand, your right hand will have to move between the bucket control lever for the FEL arms and curl, and to the rear remote lever for the jaws open/close.
