Well after a a 10.0 on the Richter scale it finally came off. LOL I broke 5 filter wrenches in the process
1 with the fabric type band that you guys showed, snapped in a heart beat filter never moved
2 of the metal ones that bind against the filter, I guess i don't know my own strength, not bad a 73
2 of 3 prong types that you use a 1/2" long bar bracket. Those were the best but due to their Chinese origin the gears stripped due to my superman like grip.

Finally I drilled a 3/8 hole in the far end and with a long beefy screw driver and the simultaneous cranking with one of those O'Rielly filter metal band wrenches, It slowly came off.

Of course with almost no maneuvering room under neath I had to get my knee against the band and at the same time torque the screw driver
I have never seen the likes of this.
I think it was a combination of Paint 1/16 thick, over tightening, dry gasket and time on the machine before removal.
If Kioti wants to install these like this they should engineer and manufacture a special filter remover taking into consideration the room under the tractor to move any tool.

Phew that was a long story.

Yep, this is a long standing issue on Kioti's.
I cheated and had the dealer perform the first service for me. :D

I was surprised to find that my Branson filters were not painted on.

Nice that you finally got the filter off. Might be a good idea for anyone purchasing a new tractor to get the dealership to crack all the original filters loose and then re-tighten them to correct spec before delivering the new tractor.

I use this when I get the real stubborn filters. Same strap wrench we use to wrap around the flywheel when torquing the flywheel nut at 150 lb/ft

I actually drilled and then used a screw driver of substance :) Not my first choice of how to do things but desperation calls for desperate measures :)
If it had not come off at that i might have brought out the torch and cut the whole tractor in half LOL
Now comes the search for hydraulic oil, I should have paid better attention in biology/ FFA

I just bought 15 gallons of Triax Agra UTTO

Seems to be well liked. Got a great Cyber Monday deal

Another Caveman...... 🤣
Is it wrong if it works?
Some of my vehicles, the Durango R/T in the current fleet, make engine oil filter swaps a mess if you don't penetrate and drain the can first. I use a sharp awl instead of Sawyer Rob's screwdriver, it punches thru with much less effort, but same concept. I've driven them all the way thru the side wall to spin a difficult filter off, when needed.

And yeah... I know the red Dixie cup (or quart yogurt container) trick. But sometimes a hole in the bottom still proves least messy.
