OK...i know that Cub has showed these units so I am going to go ahead and post this...
New 600 series tractors. Completely new tractor (made in house by Cub) with a Cat. diesel. You prob. all know that Cub currently uses a Cat. in the 7284. The problem with the 7284 is that the extra weight of the Cat. diesel added with a FEL caused many a problem for Cub. I personnaly have never sold one of these units (hard to justify having three different compact brands on the lot) but have seen/drove a 7284 and its an impressive machine. For the 6000 series they have "beefed" up the front axle...and although it is going down a series (numerically) it is a better tractor than the 7000 series...so good we ordered 10 on preseason...hope I can sell the things!
There will be a new model in the 1000 series line up. It will be a "big" 1000 series with huge Hp (26 or 28, forgot wich) and a huge 54" deck...again cast iron trans. on 1000 series for 2005 with spin on filter too.
Now for the big one...the all new Cub "Z-Wing". Sure some of you are familiar with the Tank commercial mower...well they took one of those, narrowed the frame, gave it a 48" deck...but heres the cool part...it will fit through a 36" gate. The sides of the deck actually fold up mechanically and the total width of the machine is 35.5". No more walk behinds needed, nobody wants to walk...no more worrying about getting through the "standard 36" gate". It really is an impressive machine. Probably will really kill the walk behind market. Professionals will love them too...you can fit 4 of these units in the space it takes for one Tank with a 60" deck to go on a standard trailer...they had it set up at the dealer show to prove it. We ordered a bunch of these too...
Thats it for now. If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask. Good shopping to ya!
