Rob,

Steph is in Dallas this weekend for training, then she flies out the following weekend for Chicago. She's totaly wore out from the trip. She had to go to work the morning that we got home, then there was our daughters basketball game last Saturday and Easter to deal with. She won't get a weekend off to relax until she gets back from Chicago!!!! I'm really feeling sorry for her.

Caver,

We had to look up Nancy McKeon, but did see the resemblence in a few of her younger pics. Once we realized she was "Jo" from the Facts of Life, we knew who she was.

ultrarunner,

I thought of you when we got gas in San Leandro on Marina Blvd. The Cat dealer was across the street and it reminded me that's where you go for parts on your dozer!!!

We were worried that Disneyland would be crowded with Spring Break people, so it was a HUGE suprise when the crowds never happened. Sometimes we just get lucky in our timing of these things!!!!

Did your brother tell you that they've updated some of the rides there? Pirates of the Caribean is now all about the movie. Jack Spiro and the other characters are there now instead of the original props. It's more fun for the kids and a suprise to me to see the changes.

Bird, Wayne, westbrooklawn, Ernie and wedlingisfun

Thank you. We've posted our vaction pics on here for a few years now and have really enjoyed the feedback that we've received. We've also found that the suggestions from others have been very helfpul in planning our trips, as well as being able to see things that we never even thought about until somebody mentions it.

Eddie

Eddie,

Last time we were at Disneyland, my son "starred" in a Disney training movie and we were paid with a stack of head of the line passes... GREAT deal on a very hot and busy weekend!

Yep, Eddie, you do make some fine pictures of some nice vacations. And the wedding trip you and Steph took was somehing new to me. And now my youngest daughter is doing something a little similar this weekend, starting tomorrow. Below is part of the e-mail she sent us. She and her finance are flying to Knoxville, TN, in the morning, rent a car, pick up the marriage license at 3 p.m., get married at 6 p.m., etc.

The wedding package we purchased is called Indulgence for Two:

That was a whirlwind trip, Eddie, but I think you did most everything. You must have been exhausted when you returned . . . but a good kind of exhaustion. Thanks for the photos.:)

Bird, that's where I grew up and will be retiring about 20 miles south of there in about 4 years. While you're there, I suggest you take the time to drive up into the Smokies, even though it'll be a couple/three weeks early for the prime wildflower viewing...

If you've never been there, simply by driving up into the mountains, with their more than 5000-ft elevation gain, it's the equivalent of going from the south all the way into the southern Canadian zones, when it comes to plants and wildlife... The most variety of plants and wildlife of any place in the country, as far as I know...

My son and I will be there April 19-25, hopefully when the wildflowers are at their best...
