Gosh, you guys make me feel old. When I graduated from high school at the age of 18 in 1958, two friends and I went to Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico, then on to El Paso where one of the guys had an aunt and uncle. As we approached the edge of El Paso, there was an airport with a sign out front with something about sight seeing flights on it. None of the 3 of us had ever been in an airplane, so we took a 20 minute flight in a Cessna 172. But I didn't get any wings.

When I took my first (and only) flight in a glider in 1990, I was offered a log book to log my first lesson but I declined. It was fun, and I wanted to see what it was like, but had no intention of making it a habit.

My parents live near Jackson, which is just below the snow line. From there house, we drove up the mountain to the National Forest where we found a good place to play in the snow. Eddie

The only thing I really regret about the trip was that we didn't get any free time to visit with people. If we had more time, I would have contacted you and a few others who live there to see if we could have stoped by.

When I retire and buy an RV, I'm gonna create a map of all my favorite projects from TBN and see if I can come visit with everyone!!!! It might take a few years, but it would sure be worth it.
