I messaged Rural King and asked why they dont sell these tractors at all of their stores (since I had to drive 2 hours just to look at them). They told me that their plan is to eventually have them at all stores. I also asked about trade ins and they said they do not accept trade ins YET. But the tractors look well built. The New Philadelphia, Ohio store I went to said they sold 30 last year and none of them came back. You can also put no money down with 84 month financing, which is pretty hard to find when buying a tractor. Here's a video I took while looking at the tractors and implements at Rural King. I just wish that we could keep all videos under 10 minutes. There is one guy that goes on and on and on for like 40 minutes in his videos. Who has time to watch that long? And his topics are ones that I am very interested in, but man 42 minutes? Sheesh.

There is a thread on the TYM forum, under operating, that is titled "RK tractors built by TYM" Old Red and others have submitted posts, If you seek additional information regarding the RK tractors, some of the posts are informational, others not so much.

From the Rural King Tractor website it looks like the tractors are aggressively priced and offer several features that are not standard on the Kubota's, Mahindra's and LS I looked at.

Even so, it is a no go for me. There are no dealers in my local area. Closest Rural King Store is several hours. They don't sell tractors there yet and even if they did it is just too far.

Based on dealer location Kubota and Mahindra are still at the top of the list. Mahindra is heavier, less expensive and seems to spec out better. But Kubota has a strong following. That doesn't happen without a good product and good service. Sometimes ruling out a brand is all you can do. Rule them out until you have one or two left then make the best deal you can.

My take on TYM tractors is overall they are good but have a spotty dealer network. If you buy a re-branded one in Mahindra, Rural King, or whatever, parts is the biggie. How well will TYM support those re-branded units I don't know. I would hope that a large Mahindra dealer has good support from them. If anyone on here can give some input it would be appreciated.

As far as the Morgans channel I have no problem with it.

Agree with your comment regarding the targeted audience. Mike's intentions appear to be instructive. He doesn't pretend to be the premier authority on any given subject, but is merely sharing his experiences with folks that find his content helpful. Very unfair to label Mike as an attention seeking showman. I believe he made his position quite clear. If somone possesses greater knowledge than the instructor, don't waste the class time by enrolling in the course.

Finally ! Both new stores in TN are within 45 minutes of me. Tractor Supply is going to feel the pressure now.

They are actually opening a harbor freight and Rural King within 500 yards of each other in Monaca Pennsylvania. The Harbor Freight grand opening is actually this weekend, and the grand opening for the Rural King is the 15th of March.
