Are the tractors that RK is selling the same as the tractors that Cabelas sold? I know they were also built by TMY.

Who knows... these are nothing short of "logo'ed" tractors. Big factor for me would be, does RK have a parts dept, a service dept, tech support, etc. Sometimes price isn't worth it alone.

RK appears to have made a sizable investment. Waverly OH store has large assembly area, technicians, and spare parts. TYM offered them a menu of what was to be offered for drivetrain and options, and RK made those choices. Probably can't expect someone who shelled out $50K for a Kubota to be excited to see a similar tractor for $30K. I do not know the long term projections for these RK tractors, but the investment remains substantial. The reviews by folks in the TYM forum generally appear satisfied with their purchase. If I were in the market, I would purchase from RK. My online purchases always delivered as promised with integrity. They have a policy to compensate a local repair shop should warranty work be required. Must accept this is a Kubota forum comprised of folks that bleed orange. RK understands the headwinds they face. The Morgan's U Tube channel should answer prospective questions in the coming months, the necessity of an open mind notwithstanding.

I’ve never seen a RK tractor in person, but I’m guessing 30vs50k isn’t an equal comparison.

He says "kind of hard to stand here without breaking your neck", then proceeds to start his chainsaw and put one foot on a log that is unstable.

Working for a power company we get safety pounded into us all the time... even start many meetings with a safety topic.

I am very suprised at RK for not picking an advocate the is safety conscious as others have stated.

Pine and Oak... both trees, hardly similar. Sparrow and Hawk, both birds, hardly similar... See a pattern here?

Show of hands.. How many of us never do something unsafe, even at his age? (51, same as me)

This is what I like about YouTube, real people doing real things. The safety police and political correctness makes broadcast TV unwatchable. The only thing I watch live any more is college football, and I have to put up with the brain dead commercials and it's just about to do me in.

And for those that say "he sold out", you may not have any idea how long it takes to set up the cameras and you can't realize how long it takes to edit these videos. A 15 minute video can take at a minimum, 10 hours to edit. It is worse if you use 2 cameras. The sailing channels I watch say that the typical 30 minute film takes about 40 hours to edit.

So what if he's getting something for the hard work he puts into uploading these episodes?

It's hard not to like this guy. SKIP TO 7:49 for his talk.

My two year old grandson got a kick out of his high speed (fast motion) mowing at about 13:35. He was watching it with me and started giggling during that. It is relaxing to watch and makes me ready for spring.

He could have really taken a better approach to getting sawdust on the ice. Besides that I don’t see anything terribly wrong in his videos. I get tired of hearing from all the safety police. Maybe we should all find a job that allows us to stay at home wrapped in bubble wrap all day. Wait, you could get shot in a home invasion, die in a house fire, or have you house taken out in a tornado. Time for plan b.
