I like the Man lift too, The only thing is I would use a belt and lanyard with it. I have used all kinds of man lifts and have seem men catapulted out of them. Tire flex alone is enough to make big movements on the end of a boom. Counter wt probably be a good idea too. I watched a guy on the end of a condor lift get tossed out of a basket and get banged up pretty on the end of the lanyard on his way over the side. Better than hitting the ground of a construction sight though

yeh i tried a full body harness i use when hunting but it didnt allow me the reach i needed to reach over and under the panel at the same time to put a bolt, nut on hard to explain no matter how i attached it, it was in the way. took the risk nothing happend. might get killed driving down the road today in my govt. safe car but i took the risk. as far as counter weight tires are loaded and i tested it strait out with 3 people on it bouncing & we couldnt get the rear tires to lift. plus the concrete made a nice flat smooth surface to work from. it aint the fall that gets you its the sudden stop at the bottom

I rented a genie lift, crank it up about 6 feet and place it on by hand, then crank. They went up no problem. We did 20 arches in 2 days, the longest time is getting each arch bolted to the last one. We had all the arches pre-assembled on the ground ahead of time, and we had the edge stuff to bolt each one onto.
