Got 3 inches of wet snow

I got about an 1-1/2 to 2" of snow that is supposed to melt off later today. It apparently snowed from the Cascades to the Rockies across northern Washington and Idaho

Mid 20's here in the AM. And one morning it hit 16F. Love that picture 3 Horse Ranch - I was raised in the Okanogan valley.

The TV weather forecast 41 degrees low last night, it got to 24 at my house. Let's hear it for microclimates. I was outside at sunset. It was cold and clear, so I fired off the wood heat. Still clear this morning, so the south windows heated the house.

Thanks. it's my favorite view from the inside the house.I set my reading recliner there for that reason, but there are views in all directions. from the property.

Heat wave is returning... forecast is for near 50 degrees at NIGHT for the next 4 nights. Shutting the wood stove down.
