When I get a set of pallet forks they will be overrated for my tractors lift not for the carrying capacity but because I would probably abuse them trying to pry things out of the ground.

OK, do you use abuse your machine more than double what it's capacity is? Is that even possible without simply breaking the tractor itself?

Why Not? where do you get 1600 lbs at the pins? Stop smoking that stuff.;)

I'm sorry, I thought that we were talking about a Mahindra. :confused3: A 3316 will lift 1400lbs at the pins and a 3636 will go 1600lbs. Is this not what we have all been talking about? I had no idea that we were talking about your Kioti.

I have a 42" set that works well for me. It handles 36", 42" and 48" pallets yet is maneuverable in the woods and around the barn. I have a Kubota L4600 and the forks are rated for more than the lifting capacity of the tractor (safety factor of about x2). With my tractor I wanted a trade off between fork capacity, durability and weight of the implement. Forks that are too light duty seemed cheap and easily damaged, but, the heavier the forks weigh, the less you can pick up. I got mine from palletforks.com and I believe I paid $499 and got free shipping. Everything Attachments is another really good option as well. Good luck with your choice.

We are about to buy the Titan 48" 4000 lb. pallet forks for the NH TL100A.

http://www.palletforks.com/skid-ste...-steer-heavy-duty-pallet-fork-attachment.html

Did a simple mockup with some 2x4's marked at 42" and 48" in front of tractor and get a bit more visibility of the tips at 48". The FEL will handle 4000 lb capacity of the forks well.

Would like to have a light weight set of pallet forks for the Kubota B2710 but, it has pinned bucket, not SSQA. Anyone switched a Kubota LA402 FEL to QA?

They have free shipping, which is nice. However, I see no rating on them like UL, ETL, CSA, etc. Are they an offshore brand? They do have a 1 yr warranty, which is nice.

:)

Nor do they come with an API monogram, ATEX, ABS CDS, DNV Drill (N), or EIEIO.

Well maybe an EIEIO, not really certain on that? ;-)

Their "Free" shipping is same as others. Free to a freight terminal, think they add another $75 for delivery to ranch which is less than time and fuel to drive 3 hour round trip to Houston terminal which most are near George Bush Airport. We can lift it off of back of truck with FEL and if freight line is clever enough to load it with the QA towards rear of truck we can just hook up to SSQA and unload it easily. Did same with grapple when it was delivered last year.

Now that you say that, they probably were. :( How is it that we seem to get side tracked sooooo very much and end up not helping the OPs. :confused3: I am guilty of this all to often also. :ashamed:

Mine are 48" and 3,700 lb rating. Dealer had 2,000 and 3,700 lb. A pallet of green firewood can weigh over 2,000 lbs. Got 'em for $650.
