I have uncovered discrepancies in the interpretation of the Sumerian alphabet.

It seems there is an equivalent to the 'L.' Please re-examine all conclusions based on the erroneous data regarding the letter 'L.'

Sir, notice that I referred to the "ancient" Sumerian alphabet. Your exhibit is a "newer" version of their alphabet. There is some speculation that the Sumerians modified their alphabet after coming into contact with the Lhasa Apso people of Tibet.

Addendum

The archeological record provides clear evidence of extensive trade between the Sumerians and the Lhasa Apsoians. The change in the Sumerian alphabet from an "Art Nouveau" style to an "Art Deco" style is contemporaneous with the onset of that trade.

Be that as it may, the unchanging Sumerian word for "man" is "lu". As you may imagine, an alphabet that fails to provide a method of saying "man" would be highly unlikely.
