[Desert Sands]

Does anyone know what this ground wire is for and the bolt necessary to secure it onto the nut? It sits under the air canister. Since there appears to be an opening that descends down through the nut, I am hesitant to use a bolt that would secure the wire to it completely capping it off. I have been unable to locate the part on any parts diagrams for this tractor. Dirt bikes and old VW 6 volt vans I'm fairly savvy on but this animal is a new breed for me.

That looks like some sort of sensor to me. Water temp maybe. It's hard to tell with the harness in the way.

Not sure if these engines have them - but that looks a lot like the “knock” sensor on my old Nissan Ka24
