To get a tractor with the HP and weight to replace my old one I will be dealing with a DPF. Is this something I can live with? Are the electronics on the L3560 or L4060 troublesome? Thanks

I have the DPF system on both my L6060 and MX5800 and have had no trouble at all. 2K hours total on both machines and most of the time, I don't even notice when a regen cycle is happening. Only once did I have to do a parked regen cycle.

My L4060 has been trouble free over the past 1200 hours. It regens on average every 53 hours, for 13-15 minutes while I continue working.

440 hours on my L3560. 13 or 14 regens without a hitch. Had to replace an o-ring on a FEL line and both 3rd function hoses. That’s it.

My advice is to ask people who don't like them. Find out why.
I don't like to run any tractor at the higher RPM that the DPF engines seem to require.
My preference is to work at a lower rpm just because that is how I most enjoy tractor work.

Also, you shouldn't ask people who have had no problems. Ask the people who had to replace their emissions systems. Find out what it cost and how long it took.
It’s not a common thing. Start a poll of how many people have had to replace their emissions systems. Doubtful that many will have done this.
