I checked with the dealer I purchased everything from, very respectable dealer, and he explained the FEL has added frame support at the front tractor frame as well as the center support which accomplishes what a sub frame attached to the rear axle would do. He went on to explain for older tractors there is no sub frame attachment available so I would have to fabricate one on my own if I was so inclined. He assured me that the light duty way I utilize my backhoe poses no imminent risk of damage. Newer tractors have a sub frame, either installed or available, which does greatly increase the strength for attachments. Thank you all for bringing this to my attention.

Has anyone got a pic of their subframe mounted to their yanmar ? I am working on subframe mounts for ym1700, and would like to see some diff. options. Have mine mounted to 3pt. just to see if it had any leaks, so far all is good. This is an older 80ish style Kubota L650, w/pto driven bh. Txs in advance for any & all help. Jim

I Have no pictures, but ones I have seen over the years show the bellhousing breaking about where it attaches to the Transmission.
