I've noticed a adjustable bolt on my BX2350 that limits how far the HST pedal will go forward. It seems it would limit how far down it can be pressed. Can that be adjusted to give the tractor a little more road speed, or is that one of those setting best left alone.
Best left alone. It's not a throttle motion restrictor. I think you may be able to bind the swash plate if you go to far - but that's not for certain. (If you don't know what a swash plate is and does, you REALLY don't want to monkey with that!!)

Edit - correct adjustment is to shorten the bolt so the full stroke does not touch it. Then raise the bolt until it just touches, then go up 1 full turn and lock in place. If you lower it so the bolt does not touch the peddle, you won't bind the swash plate, but you will bend the linkages $$$.
John Bud.....what is the swash plate and what is its function? How does it work??

Great video!! Same idea is used on helicopters, and is also called a swash plate-- If I'm not mistaken, its funtion is to change the pitch of the blades independently depending on which side of the rotor disc needs to be altered.... Any chopper mechs/drivers out there?
