Kano Kroil ........ 106 pounds .. $0.75
ATF-Acetone mix.. 53 pounds .. $0.10

The ATF-Acetone mix was a 50/50 mix (1 to 1 ratio)."

The above has one typo (which was in the original article as well): Instead of ATF it should be PSF (power steering fluid).

I hit a lot of WalMarts in my travels at work, they usually have clean bathrooms and I like to browse for closeouts. I've never seen Kroil but I hope they do start carrying it around here...I always have to mail order it.

anyone use this Fluid Film: Corrosion Preventive, Lubricant and Rust Inhibitor. I use it all the time. Kinda hard to find. Only place around here that sells it is JD dealer

I bought Kroil when I was working on a car that had sat for 15 years. I sent away for it . Just about everything was frozen in place . I did a lot of spraying ,tapping and waiting to free things up. The Kroil paid for itself as nothing broke or stripped. For everyday use I use WD 40 or PB.

This was a Super Center with an auto service center. It was strangely on a shelf in the motor oil section.

BigE_ , without opening an old wound . Is the loader frame on your tractor standard ? And do you know how long they have been like that ?
