Buy a farm, your tax problems will be over.....

Oh? I'm afraid I would have no money to tax because of my brown thumb. I did grow a paunch but have totally failed at growing hair on my head or anything else.:)

I hear ya!!!! My farming talents are minimal. But there's always something to do, I put approximately 800hrs per year on my tractors and RTV. The tax deductions are huge. Not sure that's a good thing........ :)

Yes, yes it is... And there are many more sins just like it, like a dirty plate left in the sink and not put in the dishwasher.
You need one of those magical sinks like I have. You just put the pot, plate, glass, etc in this sink and I magically gets washed and put in the dish drain board by the sink. I think there is some connection to the sink and stove which requires me to do the cooking in order for it to work.

Hahahaha. I'm not allowed in the kitchen very often because I do everything wrong. In 66 years, I have never managed to load the dishwasher properly and probably never will. Not allowed to use a dish drainer either because I probably didn't hand wash them correctly. sigh...

Between marriages I was a bachelor for 8 years. I scraped off the leftover food on the plates before putting them in the dishwasher, never scrubbed them, rarely rinsed them. Dishes came out fine.

Heaven forbid if that's done now!!!! Those dishes MUST be hand washed BEFORE going into the dishwasher!!!!!! To me that's like handwashing your clothes before putting them in the clothes washer...... :confused3: :D

I put this right beside her leaving my tool cabinet drawers open after removing a tool!!!!! :D

Dishwasher? I am the dishwasher and I don't get loaded. At least not in the past 30 plus years.

No retirement for me – I'm going out feet first! The government elminated mandatory retirement years ago. But, federal law dictates that you must start taking your pension at the age of 71. Shockingly, however, you do not have to retire at that point, so you can have your employment income and your retirement income at the same time. Works for me!

That works for me too. I am a 'fair weather trucker' now. I only work in the summer time.
I guess you could call me semi-retired.
As for a hard and fast date I am going to fully retire? How about the year 2045, it is a take off on the London Life Freedom 55 plan only it is freedom 99.
The company tells me I have my '01 Freightliner as long as I want it, so it and I will retire in 2045.

I consider Retirement as an absolute luxury. I have sympathy for all those that don't get to experience it.
