Right side operator station. FEL control would be "vertical." Control is mounted independant of the FEL and will stay with the tractor when the FEL is off.

Entry and Egress is possible, but cramped.

Left side of the operator's station, the preferred side to enter and egress.

On the 790 it's rigid pipe from the connections, under the tractor, and across to the valve. Connections forward is flex hose, at least to the rigid pipes on the loader arms /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is the Left side of the bucket, would this be a "C" or an "L"?

I had some time to add photos of our JD 4120. It has the heavy bucket on the 400X loader. As you can see the bucket is rather beefy. The top is sort of boxed in. The sides have reinforcement and the bottom speaks for itself /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've banged it on stumps quite a bit already (trying to uproot them) and it hasn't put a ding or bend in it at all. You can enter the tractor from the right, but there's no step and the loader joystick is sort of in the way. I've squeezed through a few times though. If you move the tilt steering up it's easier. Lines for the loader are in these photos as well.

Wow! I've never seen a loader before that had the hydro lines sticking up as a catch all for any tree limbs or shrubs. Are you sure you didn't have some of these specially plumbed as to be useful on snagging tree limbs?! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It looks like some of the lines not only would snag everything in sight, but would also block some of the line of sight! Heck, on some, I think I'd get my hands, arms, and legs tangled in the lines! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I'll stay in my "protected" world. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Dargo,

You are the perfect example of who cab tractors were designed for. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I can hear the loud speakers now: For your safety! Please keep your Legs & Arms within the confines of the Cab. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Just kidding Brent. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Glad to see you have recovered from your wild ride.

Brent, why don't you post some photos of your tractor on the thread. I know it is larger than my original intent, but we already have some posted that are smaller posted here. Let's just open up the thread and post the photos. However, in the interest of keeping things at least true to the original intent, please only post SIMILAR photos so we can compare things like bucket design, shape, loader control areas and operator platform access.

Eventually, I would like to have other areas of photo comparision, perhaps hitches, dash boards, view over the hood, control layout, etc. But for now, for this thread, let's stick with the theme but expand the sizes a bit.

Here is the right side view, valve area of a Kubota L3400. The hoses are partially exposed, so technically I would define these as "unprotected" the valve control is loader mounted but stays with the tractor when the loader is removed, the hand movement is horizontal to control the valve.
