Here is the right side of the NH TC33. It shows the operator platform as being accessable from both sides of the tractor.

At this point I would like to invite all other tractor owners who have machines from 27 to 35 hp to post similar pictures.

I believe that these have been posted objectively. I hope that tone can be maintained. I don't think the "spec" sheets are a good way to judge a tractor, but that is often all we have to go buy when we compare them so I think pictures can help.

I intentionally omitted pictures that would be more "subjective" and would some some real differences in the operators platforms because I felt they might start brand wars and that is NOT my intent. I hope that we get a good selection of photos added to this thread. I hope that this thread can be used by people who want to compare machines so they can see for themselves.

FEL valve/hoses areas will be described in the following manner. The hoses, if they extend ABOVE the hood of the tractor & above the loader arm, will be described as UNPROTECTED. If they are below the hood & loader arm, they are PROTECTED.

I had other pictures, but honestly could not figure out how to be totally objective......

I don't see the terms of protected and unprotected as being objective terms. My experience of having the loader hoses/quik-disconnects down low near the front of the tractor allowed dirt and debri to constantly collect on the hose disconnects. Hoses high at the rear of the hood stay clean and free of dirt and debri.

So IMO, using 'protected' and 'unprotected' as terms in your base criteria is voicing subjective opinion from the get go.

I think this will very informative. For someone just starting to shop "Tractors", looking at comparable pics. like this could save some leg work, and point at a starting direction. I'm not shopping but found it fun to look.

I think that if Pictures are just "presented", perhaps with a brief description of what it shows, such as you did here, they could only be seen as "objective". So I would think that pics. of any tractor/part thereof, etc. would certainly be welcomed.

Now for the John Deere 4310. This shot is of the inside corner of a JD 430 FEL bucket. The top lip of the loader curls over and does not have any re-inforcement under it. Deere offers a heavy duty and light duty bucket for their FELs. This is the light duty bucket.

And a side shot of the bucket to show its shape. "C" shaped bucket.

And here is the control stick for the FEL. The joystick of the 4310 is part of the tractor instead of the loader. When the loader is removed, the joystick stays with the tractor.

Great thread Bob. I'm hoping someone posts similar pics of a Kioti CK30.

And here is the right side of the operators platform. The right side of the operators platform is open and allows the operator to mount and dismount from that side.
