I Love it Aaron! He said it has a 3-way dump, so if it doesn't go to both sides... you'd better not be in the cab when he does the forward dump!!!
:laughing::laughing::laughing: :thumbsup:
Thanks for the laughs... just thinking about it made me smile!
I'll bet that if you pulled the back pins, it would dump forward...
If you had a short enough box to get the needed clearance , you could install a mid mount salter and salt the road that way.

A few photos of the mog I got in yesterday. Starts right up, but needs too much to be saved. So it will be a good parts truck.

Thanks guys for the kind words, here is a little more info on this one. Truck is a 1979 and was restored by Schussler in Germany and was shipped over here in 2009. The new owner suffered a stroke a few months later, so the truck has been sitting since then. From what I have been told, the owner wanted a doka with a big dump box. So Schussler put the truck together with the options he wanted. It has a rebuilt 20 speed transmission that shifts perfectly. A new clutch, two speed PTO with both front and rear 1 3/8" shafts. Front Schmidt plate with bumper, extra diesel fired heater under the rear seat. Custom three way dump box which measures 8'X6.5'. (dumps rear and both sides) The motor has 2258 hours as of today, and is tuned to put out 130 HP. Tires are Conti. MPT81's that have about 95% tread left. Gearing in the axles is standard. I got it up to 59 MPG on the GPS the other day. Truck runs great and has no signs of abuse or lack of maintenance. This truck will be FOR SALE very soon! after I get it cleaned up a bit and fix a few minor things. Asking price will be $55k. Here are a few more photos of it. The yellow one is my daily driver!
Please tell me more about that.......or did you mean MPH?

I want one! I don't know what for, but I want one. :thumbsup:

Along with this, I have an etiquette question. Is it OK to have "Uni" envy?? :D

My goodness, when I hit the lotto, this is the first thing I'm buying!

Sorry that should be MPH. I get about 15MPG in my yellow 416 Doka. so this one should do about the same.

Started parting out the funky red one, and got the winch off. Man this thing is huge! About the size of a small block chevy, and I bet just as heavy! Rated at 10 tons, would make a great three point winch for dragging trees. Just mount it to the top of a heavy duty blade facing backwards, and you have a cheap forest winch. It is PTO driven so it should be no problem powering it.

Love the mogs. The OP DOKA is SWEET. Shame the buyer never got to enjoy it.

I figured they'd be a hit when MB brought them over. One truck, one engine, one insurance, one license to renew yet capable of doing everything from ROW maintenance to streetsweeping. Made financial sense to me even at their higher entry price than a single use vehicle.

I think they were too much of a culture shock to buyers used to single purpose vehicles and they never sold. I believe MB dropped them from their NA lineup. Maybe they'll return? I hope so.
