Pickup strainer issues- Massey 1643

Hi All,

Is there a trick to getting this elbow back on? It goes between the two pickup strainers on a Massey 1643 hydro transmission. I'm thinking about using a screwdriver to stretch it over the two pipes but the elbow seems to be a little fragile & I want to just check & see if there is an easier way.

Well it turned out to be no problem at all. The new one was much easier to work with than the old one.
