I think you made a very good decision. Couldn't have picked a better tractor myself. Philip.

I thought hard about getting turf tires on mine, too, but my sales guy said he didn't recommend them with a loader, that the turf tires are thinner & he cringes thinking about running turf tires running into cut branches & stumps, etc. In hindsight I kinda wish I had gottem them anyway & just taken that chance, since I'll probably be mostly mowing & not rippin' into all that much woody/ sharp material. Especially wish I had them on the 4-mile trip from my parents' house to my property, ~2 of which is on pavement.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks, and the only complaint I have is not getting enough seat time?

Excellent ... & that's my complaint, too.

I mostly mow and move snow. The turfs I have were great in the snow last winter. I don't work on constuction sites, so the R4's were a bigger comprimise for me. The R3's with the loader have been fine so far. Look for a take off or used set. Be careful, there are 3 different types of turfs. Philip.

Hey, it's only new once! The pic you are talking about was taken after I bush hogged the 18 acres of 6' tall weeds on the left. I was lucky to get it clean again. I just picked up my new tires and blade from the dealer, tractor had 20 hours on it.

People talk about break in. I would if I could have. I picked up new tractor from dealer. Drove 4 miles from dealer to farm at top engine speed. At farm put on bush hog and ran the crap out of it for 2 days. Oil has been changed twice, used oil analysis reports look great!

Nice looking tractor.

I have the big brother to that one. Next time you go mow, take off the loader. It takes about 5 mins. and then it drives like a sports car. Just make sure that you have a level place to leave the loader, otherwise it can be a bear to get back on.

Do you have any front weights and what kind of mower do you use?

Philip ... What lights do you have attached to your ROPS?

Did you have to modify/ drill, or do they bolt right on?

Where did you get power for them?

What switch are you using?

NAPA 35W Grote flood.

I had to drill the rops, which did not bother me, others it will.

Starter lug positive side, fused, with proper awg.

NAPA heavy duty marine, one switch for front lights, one switch for rear lights.

I need new pics, all zip ties are off now, I ran wire internally in the rops.

Send me private message with e-mail and I can share schematic, parts list, and more with you. Philip.

Philip (or any other HST + Cruise Control owners), have you done this?: I was using my FEL to lift something up & over the sides of & into my utility trailer, & when I was done went to shift from L to M range to back away faster ... but hit the cruise bar instead, still in forward  Caught it real quick, but not quick enough as it put a little crunch bend in my trailer's fender. That fender was no match for the tractor
