Ray,

I just bought a used BX24 with ROPS and backhoe and it fits in my standard height garage doors with good clearance. I about died when I pulled into the garage and forgot all about watching the ROPS, but she went in no problem.

techman, that cab looks great do you have a part number? is it velcro attached?

Unfortunately I do not have a p/n. I bought it some years ago. It was on sale at Sears. Clearly it was not made for a 'Bota. The size looked good, so I sprang for it. There is a tubular steel "frame" that is bolted together. I actually eliminated some included parts (didn't need them). I had to drill 4 x 1/4" holes in the side edges of the floor pan. You bolt the frame on using these 4 holes, and the actual vinyl cab goes over the frame and is held on by some wrap around edges that snap on. The back is open, and it does not fit precisely in the front corners, but virtually no snow or wind gets in. The sides open to get in. To hold the sides closed I use a bungie that goes through an eyelet in the cab, and they wrap around the handles on the rear sheet metal.

All in all it works well and almost looks like it was made to fit.

Paul

Man, you got lucky. I smacked the frame above my door twice with mine, so far.

jwatt51,

I soon will be installing my front mount snowblower for the first time on a B3030. Can you comment on the step by step "process" of putting the front mount frame and pto on? How long did it take? Any tips?

Do you have a loader? If so you will need to remove it.Has the dealer/previous owner installed the blower before,or are you working from a kit in the box?Post back and we'll help.Good Luck!

The dealer had installed it once after they assembled the kit and configured the hydraulics. I have the pto shaft and a black frame to attach to the bottom of the tractor. I plan to try to install it next weekend.
