Roy has it right. Pay attention here. If the wife catches you on your tractor wearing a smile the JIG is up....It's all work, not suppose to be any fun involved.

If I remember correctly, Roy was just "afixin" to take his lovely wife out on the town thus his "goin' to town" attire and armament.

Thanks TripleR. Yea as soon as they hear me crank them up they have to be right there with me. But i think its good so they are learning the safty of the tractor at a young age rather than waiting till they "think they know it all"age.:thumbsup:

Me too; I started my sons out early also and now they are doing the same with their sons.

Same here and as a result it has become a challenge to "catch" me smiling in which case I invariably look like a doofus or doofusier. At my age I am not too concerned with my appearance, but I at least prefer not to look deranged. :laughing:

Ok I cheated and had to get off the tractor to use my cell phone. This is a couple of pictures of the log I was hauling out at my Dad's house. 24' long and about 32" at the butt end.

What a fun thread!
We had a pipeline come through 1000' of some nice oaks so thought we would try the firewood thing just for fun. A rented splitter, the 460 loader with ole snaggle tooth on the front made it too easy. That's snaggle tooths' creator guiding me in.
